My Top 5 clothing stores for babies.

Shopping for a baby can be quite an exciting experience but a daunting task too. Often, we find ourselves spending way too much money on quality that doesn’t last long and in the end, these items are wasted and cannot be used again. As a New Mom I have attempted doing things on a trial and error basis , so I buy clothing that are both affordable and that are gender neutral – so I may use it again, if we decide to have another baby. Also, after shopping at various clothing stores, I have decided on my 5 favourite retailers which not only deliver affordable prices but quality too.

1. Woolworths

This retailer may be a bit pricey but when it comes to quality, they do deliver. They also run, quite a number of sales throughout the year. The quality sales are the perfect opportunity to buy all the items you made a wishlist of at an affordable price. They also have really great cotton sleep suits and all-in-one rompers, these are particularly great for both winter and summer. The sleepsuits are usually R99. 95 for one, but if you are a WRewards member you can purchase 3 for R250. 2. Ackermans Baby

My absolute favourite retailer, convenient, easy to navigate through and perfect for my baby and gifts. Ackermans was the first store we purchased our baby clothing from, they have a variety of baby items-not only clothing. Here you find affordable and quality baby items, clothing and blankets. I love their baby range. Their winter Rompers are also really great, comfortable and snug. I do wish they would consider creating an online store for those of us who prefer that route.
